The Accra Metropolitan Assembly says repairs have been completed on sections of Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in the central business district, including the Lava U-turn.

The Assembly’s update, also reported by MyJoyOnline, concerns completed paving work at identified sections and adjoining intersections. It should not be read as a claim that every road in the wider area has been repaired.

What this means for road users

This is a report of completed work, not a live congestion reading or a new closure notice. Motorists should continue to follow signs and directions at the location.

Accra Today has not independently carried out an engineering inspection of the works.
